The Rapid Ramp System needs very little maintenance. However, we have given a few suggestions that should help increase your wheelchair ramp's longevity.
Tip 1: Clean the handrails or kerbs with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and mild detergent; this should remove most marks.
Tip 2: The platform and ramp sections should be brushed and hosed down to remove any dirt or debris.
Powder-coated, galvanised steel
All our ramp components including handrails and platforms are galvanised, a process where a protective coating of zinc is applied to prevent rusting and to kill moss.
Plus, all components (excluding the platforms and ramp legs) are powder-coated to create a durable finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
