Accessibility & The Mayor of London's Vision

According to The Mayor’s vision for a diverse and inclusive city, 2017, much of London remains ‘hard to access for too many people. Inaccessible buildings, spaces and places make life difficult for London’s one million disabled people' p14.

There was an ongoing desire to create an ‘inclusive city that is welcoming to all’ and where ‘disabled and older Londoners will benefit from accessible and safe neighbourhoods' p14.

Although the report was published in June 2017, it still provides valuable insights into the mayor's aspirations for achieving an inclusive city. We at Rapid Ramp are committed to supporting this vision by providing ramped access solutions wherever possible.

For a comprehensive understanding, please refer to the full report: The Mayor’s vision for a diverse and inclusive city, 2017
