REQUIREMENT:
A modular access ramp and accompanying steps leading to a newly constructed modular classroom.
DESIGN PHASE:
INSTALLATION:
The installation was completed by our in-house fitting team in just one day during the summer break—well ahead of the new school term—ensuring zero disruption to site operations.
Our steps are built on the same principles as modular classrooms: fully reusable, quick to dismantle, and effortlessly relocatable. This makes them ideal for evolving sites and phased projects.
Unlike traditional concrete or timber alternatives, which are fixed and single-use, our solutions are designed to move with your project. It’s the kind of flexibility contractors expect—and exactly what we deliver.
FEATURES INCLUDED:
- Looped Trombone Ends – Prevent clothing from snagging at handrail ends.
- Slip-resistant Mesh Platform - A multi-directional, self-draining walkway made from galvanised steel mesh.
- Anti-climbing Infill Handrail - Prevents climbing and reduces the risk of falls through open sections.
- Standard Colour: Black - A powder-coated finish provides increased durability over conventional paint.
- Adjustable Telescopic Legs - Accommodate varying threshold heights with ease.
- Slip-Resistant Yellow Stair Nosings - Improve visibility of edges and level changes, especially for visually impaired users.
SCHOOL RAMP INSTALLATIONS
Our installation approach is flexible and customised to meet the specific needs of each school. We often plan our work to coincide with school holidays to minimise disruptions to the teaching schedule.
Nevertheless, we are equally capable of completing installations during regular term time hours. It's important to highlight that all our team members have undergone thorough DBS checks (formerly CRB), including clearance for working with children and vulnerable adults.
