A ramp and accompanying access steps for a recently constructed modular classroom.

Our in-house specialist designer created CAD drawings based on measurements and photographs our site surveyor took.

These drawings are intended to provide customers with a visual representation of how the ramp will look when installed.

Our team completed the installation of the Rapid Ramp during the summer break.

FEATURES INCLUDED: 

• Trombone Ends - these are added to the ends of a Rapid Ramp to prevent clothes catching.
• Telescopic Legs - these can be adjusted to accommodate different threshold heights.
• Mesh Platform - self-draining mesh allows water to pass through rather than collect on the surface.

EXTRAS FEATURE INCLUDED: 

•  Infill Handrails - this handrail system prevents users from climbing or falling through gaps.
• Yellow Tread - a safety feature designed to help those with impaired vision identify the nose of the ramp or step. Additionally, it helps users distinguish any level changes.
• Step Unit - an ideal addition to any ramp installation, providing the access needed for able-bodied users. They can also be stand-alone units, independent of the Rapid Ramp System.

Our installation approach is flexible and customised to meet the specific needs of each school. We often plan our work to coincide with school holidays to minimise disruptions to the teaching schedule.

Nevertheless, we are equally capable of completing installations during regular term time hours. It's important to highlight that all our team members have undergone thorough DBS checks (formerly CRB), including clearance for working with children and vulnerable adults.
