The client sought a Saturday installation to avoid disruption during the centre’s typical weekday opening hours.

These were produced internally, utilising the architectural drawings supplied by the client.

The installation of the ramp took place on a snowy Saturday.

Our metal ramp provides a notable advantage compared to other materials like wood or concrete, as it can be installed in a variety of weather conditions, including snow! 

• Mesh Platform -  Self-draining mesh allows water to pass through, preventing surface accumulation.
• Trombone Ends - Installed at the ends of a Rapid Ramp to prevent clothes from snagging.
• Telescopic Legs - These can be adjusted to accommodate threshold heights.
• Standard Handrail -This handrail system ensures that users always have a support to hold onto.
• Standard Colour: Black - Our ramps boast a powder-coated black finish, ensuring durability beyond typical paint.

EXTRA FEATURE INCLUDED:

• Yellow Tread - A safety feature designed to help those with impaired vision identify the system's nose and any level changes.

Newly poured concrete must be protected from freezing for the first 24 to 48 hours and requires drying time before use. Therefore, concrete installations are heavily reliant on good weather conditions and cannot be completed in snow or frozen temperatures.

Unlike concrete, our modular metal ramps can be installed in most weather conditions, including snow. Plus, the product is manufactured from galvanised steel. Galvanising is a process where a protective coating of zinc is applied to prevent rusting and to kill moss.
