One of the main venues was the Alexander Stadium, which staged the opening and closing ceremonies.

Temporary prefabricated ramps to the various marquees, including the spectator first aid tent, the site security tent, the spectator family rest area, the toilet block, and shower Unit.

It was essential that all systems had a wide walkway with the capability of supporting a diverse range of daily traffic, including footfall, prams, wheelchair users, mobility scooters, powerchairs and trolleys.

Our in-house designer produced 2D & 3D CAD drawings, with reference to the finished floor height measurements supplied by the client. 

Once the marquees were positioned, our team installed the modular ramp systems.

Each ramp included platforms with a safe loading capacity of 1,000 kg, providing strong and reliable access for pedestrians, mobility equipment, prams, and event machinery.

Several ramps were fitted over grassed areas, with composite decking boards placed under the feet to spread the load.

An additional ramp was installed in the stadium car park, spanning areas of block paving and tarmac, with the feet securely anchored for extra stability.

After the event, the ramps were dismantled quickly and reused for future hire projects. The entire job was completed on time and within a short turnaround period.

• Telescopic Legs - these can be adjusted to accommodate different threshold heights.
• Yellow Tread - this is a safety feature designed to help those with impaired vision identify the nose of the ramp.
