Why Do I Need Steps With Handrails?

Published on Monday 17th October 2022

For safety purposes, we always recommend choosing access steps with handrails included. Handrails are designed to provide the user with stability and support; without them, a user could trip and fall over. Also, if you require sign-off from the building control, a platform is mandatory with any step unit.

The Fully DDA Compliant Step System

This step system fully adheres to DDA regulations, BSI: Standards, and Documents M and K of the Building Regulations.

It is designed with the highest standard of provisions to prevent falls, collisions, and injuries in public settings such as schools, hospitals, shops, and offices.

All standard and compliant features must be included when applicable. >>More Information On DDA Steps<<

All our step handrails are galvanised. This is a process where a protective coating of zinc is applied to prevent rusting.

Powder coating is next applied to create a durable finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
